The Chicago White Sox and the Philadelphia Phillies will meet up on the MLB diamond(mlb championship rings) Sunday to finish their series.

In the opener of this set Friday, the Sox(custom Chicago White Sox championship rings) eked out a 4-3 win. On Saturday, Philly returned the favor with a 3-2 win. For the Sunday game, the White Sox will bring out Reynaldo Lopez for the start. Over his 124.1 innings and 5-9 record this year, Lopez has a 5.43 ERA with 117 Ks and 46 BBs. Chicago put up five hits in the Saturday game, and could only score in two different innings. Jon Jay was the only other player on the Sox lineup with two hits, and he also had an RBI. Over on the Phillies� side, they�re going with Drew Smyly on Sunday. Across 64.1 innings and a 2-5 record this season, Smyly has a 6.85 ERA with 65 Ks and 37 BBs.

Philly only recorded four hits in the win Saturday, but made them count. Harper and Hoskins each hit solo home runs to set the pace.

The White Sox are 2-5 in their last seven Sunday games and 1-6 in their last seven in game three of a series. Chicago is 1-4 in Lopez�s last five starts and 0-4 in his last four on grass.

Meanwhile, the Phillies(Philadelphia Phillies championship rings) are 5-0 in their last five Sunday games and 5-1 in their last six in game three of a series. The over is 5-2 in Philadelphia�s last seven Sunday games as well.

Lopez has a pretty nice run going over his last four starts, with three quality outings and a combined six earned over 26.1 innings. Thing is, he�s just 1-1 in that time.

As for Smyly, he has two good outings since coming to Philly, with one earned in 13.0 innings.

I like both pitchers here, but I�m leaning toward the Phillies(championship rings) due to offensive potential.

The Milwaukee Brewers and the Chicago Cubs will match up on the MLB diamond(mlb championship rings) to kick off their series Friday.

Milwaukee is coming off a series versus the A�s. The Brewers split the first to games of that set, then in the rubber match Thursday, Milwaukee fell 5-3 to lose the series. For the Friday game, the Brewers will bring out Zach Davies in the start. Across his 8-4 record this year, Davies has a 3.56 ERA with 76 strikeouts. Over on the Cubs� side, they�re fresh out of a series versus the Cardinals. Chicago lost 2-1 Tuesday but won 2-0 Wednesday. In the Thursday finale, the Cubs(Chicago Cubs championship rings for sale) were blown out 8-0.

In the Friday game the Cubs will go with Jose Quintana. This year Quintana is 8-7 with a 4.47 ERA and 98 strikeouts.

The Brewers are 4-10 in their last 14 in game one of a series and 3-8 in their last 11 Friday games. Milwaukee is 6-2 in Davies� last eight Friday starts and 5-2 in Davies� last seven starts versus the NL Central.

Meanwhile, the Cubs are 1-4 in their last five in game one of a series and 41-19 in the last 60 home games after a road trip of a week or more. Chicago is 69-31 in their last 101 home games versus a team with a losing road record.

Davies has put up 13 earned across his last two outings. One of those was an L to the Cubs back on Sunday. In that one, Davies coughed up seven earned runs across five innings. That said, Davies is usually pretty good against Chicago.

Anderson has allowed 25 hits and 10 runs in his last 31 innings, but he has a 4.06 ERA and .279 allowed batting average on the road. Mengden has allowed 27 hits and 17 runs in his last 26.2 innings, and he has a 4.55 ERA and .238 allowed batting average at home. Mengden has also walked nine batters in his last 8.2 innings, so he's giving up homers and not finding his control. While I like backing the A's at home and it's only a matter of time before the offense bounces back, I have to side with the Milwaukee Brewers(⁪cheap championship rings) here, as backing Mengden isn't an option for me in his current form.

Sexton scores 27, leads Cavaliers past Pistons 126-119

''I'm totally disappointed in myself and our team and everyone in our locker room,'' he said. ''Our defensive disposition was nil. Nil.'' The Pistons (36-34)(Detroit Pistons championship rings) are sixth in the East, a game ahead of Brooklyn and 2 1/2 in front of Miami, but their previous visit to Cleveland - when they routed the Cavaliers 129-93 on March 2 - might have played a role in this loss. Osman had 21 points and Nik Stauskas scored 17, including 15 in the fourth. ''We made some tough shots and some clutch shots,'' Osman said. ''We had a really good night.'' DENVER (AP) � The Colorado Avalanche(custom Colorado Avalanche championship rings) needed somebody to step up to help their postseason hopes. They got two big performances before a crucial road trip.

This one came off a little hotter than I thought it might. Just a tough bounce."

Barrie now has 70 career goals, second all-time among defensemen in Colorado history. Schneider came off for an extra skater with a little more than two minutes left. MacKinnon sealed it with an empty-net goal at 18:26. Grubauer has recorded each of his three shutouts this season since Feb. 23. He has nine in his career. He faced just five shots in the third period when New Jersey was trying to rally.

"He has certainly stepped up. You see how athletic he can be and how athletic he is," Colorado defenseman Ian Cole said. "It was good to be able to help out and make sure some of his saves were easier as the game went on." New Jersey started its four-game trip with a 9-4 loss at Calgary but bounced back to win two of the last three. "It shows you there's a group in there that cares and works," coach John Hynes said.
